Women often don’t see themselves as leaders, maybe because it is not in their job title, or they can’t see the impact they are having in their role. This couldn’t be further from the truth, and is why I am on a mission to help women realise the leader within, and step forward into that power.
All women are leaders, and it is a privilege to coach them on their leadership journey and see the transformation. Leadership starts simply by being good at your job no matter where that job is in an organisation, and seeing the value you bring. Women demonstrate aspects of leadership through the delivery of their mahi and how they show up. Your job matters and is often where we can find brilliant examples of leadership. Create a win list to remind yourself of positive feedback, successes, and achievements, and consider how these demonstrate your leader within.
Recently I worked with the incredibly talented Kelly Borst. It was a pleasure shining a spotlight on that talent to empower Kelly to step forward, proactively manage her career, and develop her leadership. It’s so exciting to me when the women I serve dig deep, show courage and experience the transformation that they have within them.
