Introducing Rachel Beck

Successful leaders spend most of their time developing their strengths and applying them in their place of work. Women who develop and use their strengths more at work will become more confident, happy, engaged, and impactful.

I had so much fun working with Rachel.  I saw a smart and very capable wahine able to achieve anything that she puts her mind to.  Part of our focus was career planning and development, and let me assure you, women who are proactive and intentional about their career are the ones to watch.

Success starts in your mind.  It was such a joy to help Rachel shift her mindset, help her to recognise herself as a leader, and support her to dig deep and tap into what really matters.

It is so important to me that women get purposeful about how they show up, what they want to create in this lifetime and what success looks like. Rachel embraced this challenge, did the mahi and smashed it out the park.

“Identifying my strengths has allowed me to get excited about future opportunities. Being able to understand the relationship between my strengths and my values has made me so much clearer on what I need to thrive. Being able to capture the type of environment and factors I need in order to grow and develop and be operating at my best has allowed me to refine what I search for.

Breaking down each of those strengths and the blind spots that come with those has made me so much more aware of the way I operate and how I engage and collaborate with my colleagues.

I am currently a Senior Advisor. Melanie helped me realise that my title didn’t determine my leadership. I had previously never thought of myself as a leader, however through these sessions, Melanie helped to make me realise that I am a leader, I lead through my own style and brand, leading through my values and principles.

Melanie is incredible at empowering individuals, challenging your thinking, opening up your views to different types of opportunities.

Her sessions made me feel safe and nurtured my confidence. Her kindness and way of championing you forward was an invaluable experience that I will carry forward to help shape my future aspirations.”

I asked Rachel what areas of growth and transformation she experienced during our partnership and here is what she said:

  • Confidence
  • Ability to look further and laterally in where I could see myself and the opportunities I could look into
  • My willingness to lead and be seen as a leader
  • My ability to see and articulate my experience and strengths that are still true to me, but use language that strengthen and propel me forward

It was an absolute joy to be a part of your transformation Rachel!  I cannot wait to see where you take your career.  I know it will be both rewarding and impactful, and those that recruit you will be incredibly lucky indeed! ?
